School is just waiting For the last bell to ring. The ticking and tocking Is all we can think Of.  Dragging out of bed, Slushing through the morning. By lunch we're long dead And the food is abhorring. Cramming in homework right before class, Our lives, like sand, spilling through glass. Must get A's.  Must be active. Must worry if that kid thinks we're attractive. Worry, stress, pain, tears- What a waste of eighteen years, Clawing for freedom, for graduation, Building up so much anticipation. And then when you're free, You're finally saved, Life hits you harder Straight to your grave.
